If your bling doesn’t bling…you need to clean that thang!
Keeping your jewelry clean and looking its best is easy.

1. Liquid Jewelry Cleaner – this is perfect for gold – white or yellow – (not gold dipped!) and precious gems such as diamonds, rubies and sapphires. It works great and really does keep your jewelry sparkly and beautiful! And let’s face it…that jewelry is expensive…so why not make it look the best it can. FYI – it is not for pearls, other semi-precious stones (such as lapis, turquoise, opals) or delicate jewelry. For your delicates (not your panties girlies…your delicate jewelry – keep it clean!) there is a special formula for delicate jewelry!!! $5.95 and $6.69 respectively @ Amazon.com!
Oh and there is a great gel formula in a handy travel size (about the size of a fat mascara container). Great when traveling or in your make-up bag for impromtu cleanings! It works FANTASTIC! This is one of my favorites!!!! And it’s only $5.75 @ Amazon!
2. Sterling Silver LIQUID Cleaner – OOOOOHHHH this makes your Sterling Silver (.925) sparkle! Ok – If your Sterling piece has a stone, gem or inlay don’t dip the piece in the cleaner but instead dip a small brush (old toothbrush or Qtip) into the cleaner and rub across the silver trying to avoid the stone/gem. Be sure that you don’t dip any items that aren’t Sterling because you can contaminate the solution and potentially ruin other pieces – I have done this! Not pretty! When you’re dipping your Sterling…follow the directions – it really should only be dipped for less than 30 seconds. And finally if you haven’t ever used a liquid Sterling Cleaner….when you dip the piece in it STINKS! The chemical reaction causes a horrible odor, so don’t panic…just hold your breath. $5.69 @ Amazon.com.
Sterling Paste Cleaner — I HATE, HATE, HATE IT! You know the paste that is used to polish a Sterling Silver Service or Sterling flatware – it is messy, messy, messy. The paste gets stuck in cracks and crevices…and is very difficult to get out!!!!! Just don’t use it!
3. Polishing Clothes – these are great for a quick clean and shine. They have clothes for Sterling and others for Gold. I recommend you have both – they are great to pack in a suitcase for travel! About $10.00 each.
4. Toothpaste – yup in a bind, it works just fine. And this too is a great tip for travel…all you need to pack is an extra (old) toothbrush because your toothpaste is already packed.
Now go bling your bling!
